We are a small, friendly, country church. We meet to worship and know God better and learn to live abundant, John 10.10 life.The messages are positive, uplifting, practical and biblical. The music is traditional. The fellowship is sweet. We would love to have you check us out. 

Josh the bivocational pastor of Salem. He lives in Las Cruces. His other jobs include:

• Conference speaker. Josh travels about 100,000 miles a year conducting conferences related to Sunday School and church growth. He has spoken at First Baptist, Atlanta, Ga where Charles Stanley in the pastor and Thomas Road Baptist in Lynchburg, VA where Jerry Falwell pastored until he went to be with the Lord.  See more about this ministry at www.joshhunt.com
• Writer. Josh writes lesson supplements for small groups and Sunday School classes called Good Questions Have Groups Talking. These are published online at www.joshhunt.com He has also published several books and currently working on a new book.
• Photographer. Josh does semi-professional photography--mainly wedding photography. See his photography site at www.joshhuntphotos.com

Josh is married to Missy Romero Hunt. Missy is a 1985 graduate of Hatch High School. Her parents, Billy and Deda Romero are active members of Salem Baptist.

Missy currently works with Josh training Sunday School teachers. She trains preschool an Children's workers while he trains adult workers. 

Josh and Missy have a blended family. They have five children; four boys and one girl. The oldest is 23; the youngest is 11.
